Uncle Carney has spent a lifetime in the amusement business collecting the weirdest kinds of stuff. If you're looking for the ordinary you've come to the wrong place. You didn't see what you want in our site, just ask, as long as its strange and hard to find.

You need a whole carousel or just a horse we have it. You want a carousel you can dress or add unusual pieces to. No problem. Carnival chalk figures, individual carousel trim, signs, games, sideshow carnival banners, circus posters, carnival games and joints. You want to blow a carousel horse up, shoot it with a machine gun? How many do you need? You have something you want built, we'll build it.

You need a whole bunch of new carnival rides or a whole show, we can't help you.

Magic props:

Were not talking new junk you can rent anywhere but vintage props from some of the greatest magicians ever. Houdini, Thurston, Virgil, Doctor Doom and his Dudgeon of death. Props not made anymore. Cool old paint schemes not a lot of new chrome and flash. You need single, 3, 6, 8 or 16 sheet vintage poster we have it. You need a magician to operate the prop during the shoot, we can supply that too.

Weird cars:

Uncle Carney has a passion for weird, unusual cars.

One-of-a-kind cars like La Dawri, Berkeley, Peerless GT, Devin, Crosley Scorpion. You need a clown car? No problem. Vintage 50s European race cars, we have it. Little Euro sports cars, Abarth, Triumph, Healey, Citroen, MG, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, OSCA, Porsche. How many do you need? We also have a supply of vintage Volkswagen cars and trucks.

You need a Chevy or Ford? Too boring, go someplace else.

Weird stuff in general:

Uncle Carney has been a long time supplier to the Believe it or not museums and places like the House on the Rock in Wisconsin. When they want the strange, they call and ask, where can I find it? If you have something you need and can't find call. We just might have it or know where to find it. Or, if you need us to, we can build it.

Right now we have a huge supply of African art from the turn of the Century. Not new fake stuff but the real thing. You need a toy train collection its here. The worlds largest high wheel bicycle, how many days do you want to rent it for? Need a rider we have that too. Need about a 200 different electrical animated scene clocks? How about the largest collection of Baranger animated jewelry store motion displays made from the 30s thru the 50s.

The list of the general weird and unusual goes on and on.

Bicycles:

Pee Wee eat your heart out. Classic tank and spring fork front end bikes from the 40s, 50s and 60s we have the best of the best. You need an antique iron bike from 1860 Ok with us. Need a team of high wheel bikes for a race we have the bikes and the riders. You need futuristic bikes we have those too. The world largest high wheeler (Frankencycle, still in the record books today), mono cycles, one of kind dream bikes, no problem. Need to fill a room or two with the name badges from bicycles we have thousands. How about a case full of vintage parts for the old bicycle store shoot?

Site rentals:

You need a location showing a carousel workshop or workshop in general its here. How about a scene with people running around a bunch of weird vintage cars? A 5 acre steel fabrication yard with cranes, forklifts and stuff. Want to film a carousel as it goes together? Why rent the prop and move it when you can just rent the whole shop. How about a 50,000 square foot machine shop full of gigantic gears? Classic Victorian or a Brady Bunch house. Uncle Carney is willing to help you out.

I'll rent or sell my house, shoes, and dogs, anything I have. The Carney way is everything has to work for a living. No dead wood here. But on the other hand, if it ain't eating noth'n, why sell it?

Daniel Horenberger (Uncle Carney) has spent a lifetime in the amusement business. Growing up in a small farm town in Marengo Illinois made his move to California via most parts of the country.

Today his company Brass Ring Entertainment www.carousel.com is the largest restorer of antique carousels in the world. Carousel restoration lead into the manufacturing of new carousels. Not carousels that last a few years like most built today, but ones built better then the originals from the turn-of-the-century. Designed and built to last forever. All you have to do is go to Disneyland and ride his carousel in Fantasyland or see his vision on the fantasy carousel he helped design at Disney's California Adventure. Script help:

Writing a script or need help in knowing what the real Carney lingo was? Carnies have their own language and way. This all ended for the most part in the 50s. Too early for Uncle Carney. But he has a lot of friends from the old days. You need REAL help to find out the way it was and make your show more real? We have the information and people you need to make your show real and different. Adding a few real things in your show like some sticks, menders and flatties make the difference. If not your show might end up in the donniker.
